No 4 The Mews, is a new modern self-catering home in a secure and quiet area with eight town houses. The Mews is walled, and entrance to the complex is through an electric gate for those who are more security conscious. This makes it ideal for families with small children and pets.
The Mews has two bedrooms and two tiled bathrooms. A spacious open-plan tiled lounge and dining room area opens through sliding patio doors onto a small private entertainment area overlooking lovely views of the mountains and scenery for which Clarens is famous. There is underfloor heating in the living area and an electric and a gas heater is provided for those cosy winter nights.
A fully equipped kitchen is part of the open-plan living area. It has a four-plate hob and under counter oven, a fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee plunger, ample cutlery, crockery and glasses. Complimentary tea, Rooibos, coffee, creamer and sugar are also provided. The living room includes a TV with DStv and a DVD player, for leisurely viewing when the weather is not ideal for walks and or the other various activities that Clarens has to offer. A built-in braai and patio furniture are provided to enjoying the outdoors, completes the picture. A single lockup garage is attached to the house. There is parking on site for a second vehicle.
The Clarens town square, surrounded by its galleries and top quality restaurants, is literally a ten minute stroll away down the tarred Main Street. The house is situated conveniently close to town without having to use one’s car, and yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the scenery Clarens has to offer.
